Step 1– Creating an account

  • To create a carrier account on Kawa, click the link: www.kawa.ng
  • Input your company name. Example: Fast Garrett
  • Enter a valid company email address. Example: fastgarrett@gmail.com
  • You are to select your shipping type (Local shipping). This means local delivery locations to deliver item(s), usually within the same area or city.
  • Then, input a unique password. This will be used to login anytime you want to access your dashboard.
  • Ensure to click on the PROCEED button in order to get a verification code

Step 2– Verification process

  • A verification code will be sent to the carrier valid Email Address provided upon creating an account.
  • Open your company mailbox to confirm the email address.
  • Click the button to complete your carrier onboarding process.

Step 3– Completing carrier onboarding

  • You are to upload your company logo. Ensure that your company logo should not be larger than 2mb in size.
  • Your company name is automatically added for you (Fast Garrett).
  • Select from the drop-down an insurance type.
  • Add a valid contact email address. Customers will contact you using this email address and Kawa will also communicate with you through this email address.
  • Add a valid contact number. This is the phone number that customers will use to contact you. Kawa will also communicate with you through this phone number 
  • Ensure to add a link to your company website. The link to your company website must be functional.
  • Enter your company/office address.
  • Add a brief description of your company, let it carry the company values. This should not be more than 400 characters.
  • Your shipping type is already chosen to be Local based on your previous selection. 
  • Then, you can now choose whether you offer same day delivery or not. The option provided for selection is either YES or NO.
  • Choose your estimated pick-up time. This is the time specified for your driver to pick up an item(s) from the pick-up location.
  • Choose your estimated delivery time. The time specified for your driver to deliver an item(s).
  • Input the maximum weight your fleet can carry in kg.
  • Choose the maximum orders your riders can carry. The selection provided for the maximum orders your rider can carry is 10.
  • Then, you can choose if you offer express delivery. The option provided is either YES or NO. So if you are selecting YES, you need to input the amount you charge for express delivery.
  • Select the categories of items you carry. Your selection will be displayed in the text box on the right side and confirm your selection before proceeding to the next step of the onboarding process.
  • Select the state where you operate. The states provided for selection are Federal Capital Territory, Oyo state, Rivers state, and Lagos state.This field is not editable once you select your operating states. So, if you decide to change your operating state, you would have to contact the Kawa support team at support@kawa.ng.
  • After selecting a state from the drop-down menu, you can now add the areas/locations you cover in that state.
  • Set the days and time you operate. You can replicate a time set on any of the days to set it for all. Simply click on the copy icon to copy times to the days you operate on.
  • Congratulations, you can now proceed to your dashboard!!!
