There are two ways the delivery link works:
1. Self-Paid Delivery: In this scenario, the owner of the Delivery Link bears the responsibility for payment. They choose the carrier and cover the delivery costs.
Example: If Aminat wants to receive a package from Seun. Seun will create the request. But Aminat bears the responsibility of payment and selects a carrier.
2. Sender-Paid Delivery: Alternatively, the sender who uses the Delivery Link covers the delivery fees. They select the carrier and handle the necessary payments.
Example: Seun, the sender, uses Aminat’s delivery link to send a package. If set to sender-paid, Seun covers the cost and chooses the carrier to complete the order.
How to create and use a Delivery Link:
1. Creating a Delivery Link:
– Access your dashboard and provide a unique name for your Delivery Link.
– Save and copy the link after clicking the “Create” button.
2. Using the Delivery Link:
– Share the copied link with the intended sender.
– The sender can create a delivery request using the provided link, providing necessary information such as pickup address, sender’s email, package details, etc.
3. Completing the Request:
– An email is sent to the receiver based on the provided information.
– The sender can then choose a suitable carrier, make any necessary selections regarding pickup preferences, and proceed to payment to finalize the order (if the sender is to pay. If the delivery link owner is to pay, he gets notified to make payment and complete the order.)
